I loved using it, and it was everything it claimed to be. It seemed to be a question of the contacts because sometimes, if I pushed hard on the top, it worked. Unfortunately, after about five months of frequent use (at least 3 times a day), it stopped working. I've used new batteries, of course, and even put aluminum foil in to increase the contact. I've given up. Might still buy another, but I do think there's a problem.
This is an amazing little product for $15.00. I have an $800 capuccino machine that I was completely happy with until I saw the beautiful, tight foam this baby can produce in seconds. I LOVE IT. I cannot live without it.
The Aerolatte Milk Frother works great. If I were to buy another one I would buy the stainless steel model with the stand. The satin finish one is a little light weight but performs great.
It is very well worth the money I spent. It creates the foam in just 15-20 minutes, and the foam doesn't disapear for very long time. I'd say the quality of foam is even better than I saw in expensive cappuccino machines. I'd recomend this product to anybody who likes their coffee with lots of foam.
I personally have a Saeco Italian cappucino/espresso/coffee machine that does a great job of frothing along with producing excellent coffee. Set it back on the counter on its flat base and add your coffee to the mixture. Like whipping cream, make sure your milk is cold. This is an amazing item. Keep it away from excessive heat and your stove since it is primarily constructed of plastic, although it a stout design. Turn off the water and continue to spin the frother for a couple more seconds to dry it a bit.
To clean it, run some water while holding the spinning end of the frother for a few seconds.
I can tell you that it still makes my coffee but this little beauty does all of the frothing for me.
Perfect coffee with a perfectly frothed head.
I should know since I've owned the exact same frother purchased at IKEA for $3.99 a couple of years ago.
Voila.
Take your coffee cup and add raw sugar.
Add to this your skim milk and froth the mixture with the frother for about 20-30 seconds.
The batteries last amazingly long, too.
Love it.
